Mill Farm Trees - Trees and Hedging in August

Whilst August deluges have put a dampener on holiday and harvest plans, our trees and hedging have loved the weather!  May and June were a struggle getting newly planted hedges and woodland established but all plants that survived the prolonged dry spell should be now growing away strongly.

We have been visiting customers throughout the region who have planted long distances of native stewardship hedging and been impressed by the growth where mulching has been possible (see above). This has hugely helped establishment.

Reservations are being taken now for supply of native trees and hedging for winter planting and we are in regular contact with growers to source the strongest plants for the season. Should you have any enquiries or need a quotation for the season, please contact the office on 01962 862400.
